Aboriginal Artifacts, Tribal art from Jigalong in Great Sandy Desert

The following Aboriginal tribal weapons were collected by Mr S. Fyfe,
teacher in the Jigalong Community in the 1970´s.
Jigalong Remote Community School is situated in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Jigalong is the Aboriginal Community of the Martudjtara Tribe or Martu people from the Great Sandy Desert. The people speak Martu Wangka as a first language and continue traditional cultural practices.
The Martu Population fluctuates between 100 and 500 depending on the time of the year and on what community activities are going on at the time.
