Didgeridoo musical instrument specifications

Back Pressure: Some didgeridoos need more air than others and are more demanding for the player.
A didgeridoo with good back pressure is easier to play for a long period of time in between breaths . Curved, bent or swollen parts in the didgeridoo indicates good back pressure.
Much easier for learners without interfering with the sound quality
Back pressure is important generally for learning the circular breathing.

Clarity:
Any didgeridoo must have a good clarity. Dull, flat, muffled sounding didgeridoos are only good for decoration and should be avoided as musical instruments.
Resonance:
A didgeridoo with a good resonance will have more " personality" Intensity of the vibrations, a didgeridoo with great resonance (or vibrations) are ideal for healing or meditation; traditional ceremonial didgeridoos seem to have great resonance.
Loudness: A measure of the volume of the didgeridoo. Some didgeridoo are louder than others for the same input, important criteria if playing stage or recording.
Vocals Didgeridoo's ability to intensify the voice or vocals of the players.
Overtones: Didgeridoos ability to produce different sounds simultaneously. The tongue is used to create those extra sounds on top of basic playing.
Speed: Some didgeridoos are fast players and so used in specific musical styles.
Usually fast didgeridoos are shorter and so easier to play.

Type of didgeridoos

Bell didgeridoos are didgeridoos with a flared end or a large bell on the end. The sound is amplified by the bell, and also can be easier to play. Bells look great and usually result in better sound and/or easier playing.
